Bilingual Litigation Assistant ⚖️

📍 Work Modality: On-site (Bogotá, Barranquilla, Medellín, Cali, Bucaramanga, Armenia)

🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-6:00 PM EST

🗣️ English Level: C1

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant to support attorneys throughout the litigation process. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of litigation procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy

✅ Maintain accurate case files and update case management systems

✅ Track litigation milestones, court deadlines, and upcoming case dates

✅ Prepare and file documents with courts in compliance with applicable requirements

✅ Gather, review, organize, and summarize evidence and case documentation

✅ Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials

✅ Coordinate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, experts, and opposing counsel

✅ Manage calendars, appointments, correspondence, and legal files

✅ Provide ongoing administrative and litigation support to attorneys

Requirements

✔️ 2-3 years of experience as a Litigation Assistant or in a similar legal role

✔️ Strong understanding of legal terminology and litigation processes

✔️ Experience with court filings, case deadlines, and litigation documentation

✔️ Advanced English proficiency, C1 required

✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

✔️ Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities

✔️ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

✔️ Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

✔️ Availability to work full-time from the office
