Job Summary

Aerosapien Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Designer / Modeler with strong practical electrical field knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical BIM models, preparing construction documentation, and coordinating electrical systems with multiple engineering disciplines for commercial and industrial construction projects.

• Develop detailed 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Model electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, cable trays, conduits, electrical equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Prepare coordinated electrical layouts, shop drawings, sections, schedules, and installation documentation.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and field conditions to develop constructible BIM models.
• Perform electrical BIM coordination with HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and structural systems.
• Identify and resolve clashes using Revit and Navisworks.
• Incorporate site revisions, RFIs, and as-built information into BIM models.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and other BIM disciplines.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, quality requirements, and applicable electrical design documentation.
• Support quantity takeoffs and material schedules when required.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, BIM modeling, or electrical construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (Electrical).
• Practical knowledge of electrical installation, conduit routing, cable trays, panel layouts, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Experience developing electrical models and coordinated construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Working knowledge of Auto CAD and Navisworks.
• Experience coordinating models with actual site installation requirements.
• Experience working on U.S. commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Familiarity with NEC (NFPA 70) and U.S. electrical construction practices.
• Knowledge of BIM execution plans and LOD requirements.
• Experience in design-build, MEP contracting, or electrical construction.
• English communication skills for collaboration with international teams.
