Senior Backend Developer (AWS/Payments)

Requirements:

Must have:

- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot .

- Solid experience with AWS Cloud Services .

- Experience implementing and managing Amazon Cognito .

- Experience designing and supporting clustered/distributed architectures .

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Experience working on Payments or Financial Services solutions.

- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of application security and performance optimization.

Nice to have:

- Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).

- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

- Financial industry or fintech background.

Responsabilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend application features and functionality.

- Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

- Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.

- Develop and integrate authentication and authorization solutions using Amazon Cognito.

- Build and support distributed and cluster-based application architectures.

- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Participate in technical discussions, estimation sessions, and solution design activities.

- Ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance within payment-processing environments.

- Support production deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.
